AT LONG LAST...

Finally!
My Dad recently purchased our family's first snow blower. And so, when I awoke to snow this morning it donned on me, "I've never used a snow blower." I've run ATVs, trucks, lawn mowers, weed eaters, a 38-foot bus, chainsaws, tractors, a Zamboni, and yet, never a snow blower. As if we'd been waiting our entire lives, Snow Blower and I cleared snow like it would save the world.

THE RESULTS ARE IN!

EMT!
This past week was easily the most mentally challenging one of my life. After taking written exams on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and a practical skills test on Thursday, I faced my Friday finale, the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam. On Friday morning, a group of us woke early, drove down to Oakhurst, California, grabbed a good breakfast, and made our way over to the testing site. With 30 days of learning under my belt, I jumped into a test aimed at determining whether or not I was fit to become an EMT. At the end of my exam a prompt appeared informing me that within the next 48 hours my exam results would appear on the NREMT website. Well folks, the results are in, I am officially a Wilderness EMT!
