This weekend brought about our annual winter camping trip, a three-day, two-night stay, on Two Ocean Pass in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The pass is on the Continental Divide and is well-known for the "Parting Of The Waters" where North Two Ocean Creek splits into two distributaries, Pacific Creek and Atlantic Creek, which eventually flow into their respective oceans.
This year was particularly special with the addition of my Dad who joined us for the frigid outing. With specular snow, delicious food, and the regular cast of characters in tow, it was a lot of fun. And, while I'm tired and thoroughly enjoying the warmth of the indoors, I will say that I'm already looking forward to next year.
Riley says: "I enjoy the camaraderie. When you get with others, it's a way of expanding your thoughts and your world as you look at what others think."
