INCROYABLE!

I'm normally not a huge fan of just posting things I find on the internet but this past week or so has brought about some really neat discoveries.

This film is so well done and so fun to watch. Enjoy!

Anyone who knows me well knows I have a strong affinity for really bad movies. Movies so bad you are on the edge of your seat wondering, "How could this possibly get any worse?" Something about the fact that a director, the actors, and a film crew put not only hours (the actual length of time it looks like was needed to make the film) but months, if not years, into a project that they believed in lures me in instantly.

Last night my jaw was on the floor, in between fits of laughter, for the entire 93 minutes of the, dare I say, "horror" film, Frozen. The premise? "Three skiers are stranded on a chairlift and forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death."

Anyone who has ever ridden a chairlift has had the thought cross their mind at some point, "What would I do if the lift stopped and I was stuck up here? Jump? Stay put? Go hand over hand on the cable until I got to one of the poles and could climb down the ladder.?" Well, rest assured folks, this film covers them all. And, it even throws in a curve ball, a ferocious curve ball; wolves. That's right, a starving pack of wolves that decides their best move is to sit and wait by the chair until they can feast on human flesh and all will be well again in the wolf world. Impressive I know...

My guess is that no one following this blog will actually seek out anything further than the trailer above. However, should you be intrigued, I've pulled a couple of quotes that somehow escaped the Oscar judges.

"Look at me. Your face... It's really red. I think you have frostbite. Don't rub it, it'll come off."

"Throw my ski pole as far down the hill as you can. I'm going to need some defense as soon as I get onto the ground."

And so, it is with great satisfaction that I add Frozen to the "Best Worst Movies Ever" where it will forever reside with Batman & Robin, The Room, Speed 2, and Troll 2.
